Being at Lanier means taking part in the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Program (MYP). A requirement of the program is to design and implement a community service project during Year 3 (8th grade).

 

Students will work individually or in a group of no more than 3 to address a need in our community in a creative way. Students will be guided through the process by their study lab teacher and will be given specific deadlines. Plans of action will be developed in the classroom, but most of the work will need to be completed outside of school.
